The Haines A. Maxwell Company has been a familiar name in York County since 1972. They have, to date, build more than 120 custom homes in River Hills Plantation, more than 400 homes, condominiums, and timeshare units at Heritage USA, the 96 room Heritage Inn also at Heritage USA, and over 100 homes in the communities of Bailiwyck and Ashford on the Water both in Fort Mill. The company has built numerous homes in other locations in and around Fort Mill as well as in Charlotte.
The company holds General Contractors Licenses and Real Estate Brokers Licenses in both North and South Carolina. They hold several memberships from the York County Home Builders Association, The Fort Mill Rotary Club, and the Fort Mill Chamber of Commerce.
Haines A. Maxwell Company received the Frank Betz Award for the 2000 Winter Photo contest for best execution of one of their plans. The Company also received the 2001 York county Homebuilders Spring Parade of Homes Award for "Best Overall Design" and "Best Master Bath".
